    Posted by Long Tran

The BMW E46 is the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series range of entry-level luxury cars, and was produced from 1998 to 2006. The owner of this E46 brought it to LTMW to create the first 4 door E46 Pandem wide body.

We all know that in order to stand out from the pack, you have to take chances. And for the owner of this E46, he wanted to take a chance with his E46 Pandem build. So he contacted LTMW to help create his dream car.

19'' 7K wheels wrapped up with Toyo Proxes tires, running 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Equipped with Airlift air ride to give it that wide body stance.

  • Bagged BMW I8

    Posted by Long Tran

The BMW i8, first introduced as the BMW Concept Vision Efficient Dynamics, is a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by BMW. The i8 is part of BMW's "Project i" and it is being marketed as a new brand, BMW i. The 2015 model year BMW i8 has a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers an all-electric range of 37 km (23 mi) under the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). Under the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) cycle, the range in EV mode is 24 km (15 mi) with a small amount of gasoline consumption. The design is heavily influenced by the BMW M1 Hommage Concept (which is itself, a retro concept of the original M1).

The BMW i8 can go from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and has an electronic limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The BMW i8 has a fuel efficiency of 2.1 L/100 km (134.5 mpg‑imp; 112.0 mpg‑US) under the NEDC test with carbon emissions of 49 g/km. EPA rated the i8 combined fuel economy at 76 equivalent (MPG-equivalent) (3.1 L gasoline equivalent/100 km; 91 mpg-imp gasoline equivalent) and '29 miles per gallon' when running in pure gasoline mode (after the battery is drained empty).

The initial turbodiesel concept car was unveiled at the 2009 International Motor Show Germany. The production version of the BMW i8 was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The i8 was released in Germany in June 2014. Deliveries to retail customers in the U.S. began in August 2014. Global sales since mid-2014 totaled more than 10,000 BMW i8s by early November 2016, making the i8 the world's top selling plug-in electrified sports car. The top selling markets are the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Adding a AirLift suspension set up with a dual compressor to get it down low, was a feature that completed the look along with some 22' Stance Wheels wrapped up in a matte black finish on this electric beast.

  • WEKFEST - San Jose, CA 2017

WekFest San Jose was a trip to remember. From the adventures driving up and the memories made during and after the show, this will go down in the books! Kei Miura and Nori of Pandem (Rocket Bunny) along with Super Street made the trek in our caravan to San Jose. With about 15 cars enroute to San Jose our travels had a few hiccups but non-the-less we conquered the 350 mile drive.

After arriving the crew was pumped to finally make our destination. After setting up and witnessing so many epic builds under one roof, it was plain to see why WekFest is considered one of the Best Automotive Events in California. From old school to new, JDM, ODM, V.I.P. and WBS (Wide Body Stance) there was a collective of all of these ready to compete for the Top Honors that would bring home the trophies.

With over 11,000 attendees 462 registered cars and 57 vendors filled the 3 halls to capacity.  The lines expanded up and down the halls  and then downstairs to the Hilton as if they were all waiting 2 1/2 hours for a Disney ride. Cars registered from as far as Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, Texas, Nevada and Arizona.

LTMW was honored to receive these awards:
